Account and monitoring

When you create an account we store your business name, country, email address, a hashed password and the review profiles and search terms you confirm. To provide the service we collect reviews and search results about your business that are publicly visible on the platforms you selected. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Public reviews can contain the name or nickname of the reviewer. We only process what the platform shows publicly, only to show it to you and to check it against the platform’s rules. Legal basis: our and your legitimate interest in knowing and responding to reviews of your business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Free check

When you run a free check we store the business name, country and optional website you entered, the result, and a salted hash of your IP address. The hash only limits the number of checks per connection; your IP address itself is not stored. Check results are deleted after 90 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in providing the check and protecting it from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Protection against abuse

When you sign up, sign in or request a confirmation or password email, we store a salted hash of your internet connection (never the IP address itself) together with the time, to limit repeated attempts. These entries are deleted after one day. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting accounts and our email delivery from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Payments

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd. as Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment and billing details as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We receive your subscription status, plan and a customer reference, never your card details.

Emails

We send emails that belong to the service: account confirmation, password reset, messages about your plan and payments, alerts about new negative reviews, a weekly summary and your monthly report. You can switch off alerts, the weekly summary and the monthly report in your account under Emails. We do not send marketing emails.

Processors

Supabase (database and login; servers in Frankfurt, Germany). Vercel (hosting of the website). DataForSEO (retrieval of public search results and reviews). Anthropic (automated checking of public review texts and search results; only your business name and website are sent along, no other account data). Hostinger (email delivery for hello@evorangers.com).

Some of these providers are located in or access data from the United States or other countries outside the EU. Where required we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. The operator is located in Türkiye and accesses the data remotely to run and support the service.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Storage and retention

Account data and collected reviews are kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to close it, unless tax or commercial law requires us to keep invoices longer. Free check results: 90 days. This is our retention schedule.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Write to hello@evorangers.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work.
